2019 Minimum Wage Increases

These states will be increasing their minimum wage/tipped minimum wage on January 1st, 2019:

Alaska: $9.84

Arizona: $11.00. The tipped minimum wage will be $8.00.

California: $11.00 for employers with 25 or less employees/$12 for employers with 26 or more employees.

Colorado: $11.10 The tipped minimum wage will be $8.08.

Florida: $8.46. The tipped minimum wage will be $5.44.

Massachusetts: $12 The tipped minimum wage will be $4.35.

Maine: $11 The tipped minimum wage will be $5.50.

Minnesota: large employers with over $500,000 in gross receipts will have a minimum wage of $9.86. Small employers will have a minimum wage of $8.04.

Missouri: $8.60 The tipped minimum wage is $4.30.

Montana: $8.50

New Jersey: $8.85 The tipped minimum wage is $2.13.

New York: $11.10 The tipped minimum wage is $7.50 for food service employees.

Ohio: $8.55 The tipped minimum wage is $4.30.

Rhode Island: $10.50

South Dakota: $9.10 The tipped minimum wage is $4.55.

Vermont: 10.78 The tipped minimum wage is $5.39

Washington: $12.00
